over $3,000 if I clicked on a link. They wanted my SS # just to prove who I am. I know who I am they don't need to know. I don't have much but what I do have I have worked hard for it. Why don't they get an honest job and work for what they want or need.

The person that call was so rude and laughing at me. He Told me I will louse my job if I refuse to pay a ticket from Florence… and ai never drove in Florence in my life! I started to cry and the man started to make fun of me. He had all my information and told me they will take my money no matter if I want to pay or not and then hang up the phone on me. I was sad for 1 week and now finally find the courage to share.
Not a native English speaker. So that raises a red flag. and why would the IRS employ robo calls to reach me? It could send a mail or call me directly! The fact is that the call is not addressed to anyone specific. It's a spam call fishing for the "mentally challenged" or stupid immigrants to scam!
Left message asking to call 347-809-3468 stating my social is suspended and a legal claim is initiated! Weird! Decided to ignore this one.
Voicemail from 610-973-5102. I will be arrested it says if I dont call them and settle a tax claim by the IRS. FRAUD!
Just had an extremely similar run in as Brice described- this “Travis” guy claims to be from Texas, and wants an “online arrangement” to send $500/week in exchange for constant erotic pictures and videos. I googled his name and number and found this site so just went along with it some more to see how far it would go... He asks for all financial information- even began demanding my social security number claiming he needed it for “security reasons to transfer funds.”
I blocked him after this as it was just getting too creepy and the tone of his messages changed to be angry.
Do yourself a favor- avoid this man and this phone number!
The phone number that texts is (469) 389-1590. This is allegedly a man frequenting Grindr that seeks younger men. He contacts them and says he would like to meet, then says he cannot as he is not very reachable. Then offers to send you $500 a week for sending nudes. The next part comes in where he says he needs your bank name, routing number, and account number. This man might be trying to extort you or establish identity theft. On Grindr his name appears as Travis.
Received the call 613 616 2991 .. called back and tried to talk however I guess he knew I wasn’t falling for it and blocked me from trying to keep calling .. pretended to be CRA officer James Morrison
Got a call from Office of Inspector General, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) . The caller said I have been investigated for immigration violations and I can avoid deportation by paying a fine. The man had Indian accent. He told me to speak to a superior who also was an Indian man. I said this sounded like a scam and I would call DHS directly, he hung up!
01618503294 - Fake HMRC threat to send taxes or face arrest!! SCAM!!!
VM asking to call 9153088269 to prevent serving of arrest warrant within 24 hours. Apparently I have miscalculated taxes and there is a demand of US$4345. The nasty Asian man who answered wanted me to purchase p EFTPS vouchers. he explained that's Electronic Federal Tax Payment System Vouchers. I need to go to a nearby store and wait for instructions! I know IRS does not make such calls. Nor are there any vouchers named ETFS. What these assholes would want potential victims to do is to buy pre-loaded cash cards like GreenDot Moneypak or iTunes gift cards and share info with them!!
